This year marks the 12th edition of MTLàTABLE. From October 31 to November 17, foodies will celebrate Montréal’s vibrant dining scene with over 150 restaurants offering a three- or four-course, set-price dinner menu ($35, $50, $65 or $80).

Brunch fans will also be able to celebrate that most venerated meal at over 30 restaurants offering a variety of cuisines, from Thai, Indian, or Malagasy to classic French, Italian, and Spanish. Participating restaurants will offer weekend brunch service with a choice of mains and a beverage for $25

Below, we’ve listed the participating restaurants by neighbourhood.

Le Garden Room

Downtown

Enjoy a French-inspired brunch in the classically decorated dining room of Alexandre et Fils. For more exotic fare, head to Le Garden Room for its Thai cuisine or the unique Italo-Japanese fusion of Tiramisu (carbonara pizza anyone?). Le Mezz’s extensive brunch menu will please everyone, and it’s a great spot for family gatherings. Restaurant H3’s elegant space and flawless service will surely satisfy discerning diners.

Jacopo

Old Montréal

The largest number of restaurants serving brunch for MTLàTABLE is in Old Montréal. Enjoy a Middle Eastern feast at Babacool, or zesty Haitian specialties at Kwizinn. Maggie Oakes and Vieux-Port Steakhouse are both great for classic brunch dishes, as well as more meaty options. Pincette is your go-to for a fish and seafood-forward menu and Jacopo’s Italian food will surely hit the spot. Loam Restaurant is an elegant space with a refined menu. For a lighter take on brunch, try the California-inspired menu at Venice, or the satisfying vegan food at LOV

Other restaurants serving brunch in Old Montréal include Brasserie 701, Modavie, and Délices & Rhums Bistro.

Le Richmond marché et bistro italien

Les Quartiers du Canal

In a beautiful industrial-chic space, Bistro Le Richmond serves a great Italian brunch of homemade porchetta, polenta and more. For a more casual outing, Brasseur de Montréal is a nice, laid-back spot to hang out at on a weekend morning while enjoying their casual brunch and excellent list of craft beers.

Caribou gourmand | Brunch Cabane à sucre

Plateau Mont-Royal

If you’re craving exotic flavours for brunch, you will be well served in the Plateau neighbourhood. Choose between the Malagasy specialties at restaurant 325F, the brunch thali specials at Indian restaurant Rutba, the Thai delicacies at Issan Wineroom or the Indonesian and Malaysian dishes at Satu Lagi. If French food is more your style, Plein Sud or Le Square are great picks. Ibericos’ Spanish cuisine is beautifully presented in traditional dishes as well as more unique creations. Brunch specialist Caribou Gourmand’s cuisine promotes Québec’s local products and is truly delectable.

La Cale - pub zéro déchet

Little Italy, Villeray and Rosemont – La Petite-Patrie

Take a trip to Morocco with the spice-laden brunch at Darna Bistroquet, or indulge in some refined seafood at Palomar. Other options in this neighbourhood include zero-waste pub La Cale with a menu featuring seasonal and local ingredients.

 Bagatelle Bistro Apportez votre vin

Hochelaga-Maisonneuve

Both Bagatelle Bistro and Cabotins feature French cuisine, but with a personal twist. These two establishments also proudly feature local and seasonal Québec ingredients.

Café Le Petit Flore - Comptoir

Ahuntsic and north of the island

French-rooted brunch items such as omelettes, crêpes and Benedicts are on the menus of Ahuntsic’s Café Le Petit Flore and Les Cavistes.

Restaurant Éclipse - Dessert

Airport and west of the island

Located at the Sheraton Montreal Airport Hotel, Eclipse Restaurant’s international cuisine has brunch options for all appetites.
