Projet «4:4»

Witness the culmination of a unique and exhilarating adventure, the result of an unprecedented partnership between the SMCQ and L’inis (L’institut national de l’image et du son). A call for projects in the summer of 2024 led to the selection of four tandems of Quebec composers and directors. Sponsored by composer Philippe Brault, director Sébastien Pilote, and executive producer Yannick Chapdelaine, the tandems are working on four films combining music and images in an original way. In the first part, Quatuor Mémoire will play the musical works without images, followed by a world premiere of the four films using the music.
