Festithéâtrecréole

Since January 1999, la Compagnie Théâtre Créole has fostered connections among Creole-speaking nations through multidisciplinary creations. Highlighting the Creole identity in Montréal, it collaborates with diverse artists and institutions. The FESTITHÉÂTRECRÉOLE / FESTITEYATKREYÒL, held around the International Day of Creole Languages and Cultures, inspires young Creole speakers to create theatre reflecting their ancestral heritage and Canadian culture. The festival showcases Creole culture through theatre, humour, poetry and public discussions while celebrating the richness and diversity of Creole identity.
