What does the colour yellow mean to you? Sunshine, warmth, optimism – maybe joy? For Anne McIsaac, known to her fans as @yellowillow, it’s all that and much more. Her images express the sunnier side of life in shades of lemon, mustard, saffron and gold.

After completing studies in graphic design at Université du Québec à Montréal, Anne started her own communications agency, which she co-directed for 10 years. In 2000, she struck out on her own, offering agency services as a freelancer and working with a wide range of clients.

Then came Instagram and a whole new way to express her vision of the world. Anne now divides her time between creating stunning images, working as an art director and travelling the world as a digital influencer for many destinations and brands.
