Catch some sizzling soccer action when Canada Soccer’s Women’s National Team plays against Brazil on Saturday, October 28, at 2:30 p.m. at the Saputo Stadium.

Our phenomenal national soccer team has already won back-to-bronze medals at the Olympics in London (2012) and Rio (2016), and captured the gold in Tokyo in 2020. Plus, they’ve already secured a spot at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, making Canada the fifth nation to qualify so far, alongside France, USA, Brazil and Columbia. They are on fire!

Montréal is the first stop on the two-game Brazil friendlies this fall, which includes Halifax, and will help the CanWNT prepare for Paris 2024. Canada’s record of 10 wins, nine draws, 10 losses against Brazil’s Seleção means that spectators will enjoy an exciting game between these two well-matched rivals. The Canadian squad for the game includes six players from Québec: Marie-Yasmine Alidou (Saint-Hubert), Gabrielle Carle (Lévis), Melissa Dagenais (Saint-Hubert), Lysianne Proulx (Boucherville), Bianca St-Georges (St-Charles-Borommée) and Evelyne Viens (L’Ancienne-Lorette).

The game will also be a fantastic opportunity to say goodbye to Canadian soccer superstar and team captain Christine Sinclair, who will be retiring from international soccer at the end of the year. This will be Sinclair’s last game in Montréal – not to be missed!

Come cheer on our amazing Canadian athletes on their journey to Paris 2024! Get your tickets here.
