Salon des métiers d’art gets a fresh new location

Montréal craft lovers’ favourite annual event, Salon des métiers d’art, is around the corner—and located in a brand new space of Olympic proportions.
With the COP15 biodiversity conference taking over Palais des Congrès this December, the Salon’s usual location, the year’s ultimate arts and crafts gathering has found a new spot to fill with its dizzying array of cool stuff. You’ll find the highly anticipated fair on the 300 level of the storied Olympic Stadium in the Montréal Olympic Park.
For over 65 years, the popular holiday market has made gift shopping easy peasy, offering shoppers a panoramic choice of high-quality artisanal products, from handcrafted housewares to imaginative jewellery and decorations, comfy winter fashion, fantastic seasonal food and drink, fanciful artistic creations and so much more.
This year, from December 8 to 18, over 180 artisans and exhibitors will be showcasing their creations. Come back again and again to meet the makers that give Montréal its unique creative vibe, and support one-of-a-kind, slow-made wares. Your giftees will thank you!
