Cirque du Soleil LUZIA 2022

It’s time to see the LUZIA

There’s nothing quite like seeing a Cirque du Soleil show in its hometown, under the big top in the picturesque Old Port of Montréal. The buzz in the air is simply magical! We all get to experience that again this summer, at the Cirque’s already rave-reviewed, long-touring show, LUZIA.

Poetically guided by light (‘luz’ in Spanish) and rain (‘lluvia’), LUZIA chronicles the encounters of a parachuted traveler with the culture, nature and mythology of a dreamlike land inhabited by a mystifying menagerie of characters. Refreshing and unexpected, the show enchants by incorporating water into the acrobatic presentation — a first for a Cirque du Soleil touring production.

In a series of grand visual surprises and breathtaking acrobatic performances, LUZIA takes audiences on a surreal escape to an imaginary Mexico — a sumptuously vibrant world suspended between dreams and reality. Smoothly passing from an old movie set to the ocean to a smoky dance hall or an arid desert, it journeys through a colourful tapestry of places, faces and sounds.

Get your tickets now to witness this high octane spectacle full of atmosphere, poetry and daring acrobatics made all the more amazing with an innovative use of technology. It will be a memorable big-top experience.
